100 years of the State Archives in Poznan ... Who can be interested in it? But for me it is a breakthrough date ... I was then in the fifth grade of the elementary school, I began to be interested in languages and their practical use - philately. Then foreign travels were not common, and even getting a passport was not always easy. Philately, therefore, was a pass to the world .... Well, but the Archive may have it common with it... According to the calendar 18^th October 1969, it was Saturday, but then on Saturdays there was also school. For me, a beginning philatelist, it was very important information that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Archive there would be used a special commemorative cancellation. It was so important to me that I asked my parents to release me from the school ... I went to the opening of the 100th anniversary exhibition and I got such a desired cancellation. That's how my philatelic adventure started ...
